WET SET INTO FRESH POURED CONCRETE

Our wet set has the same design as the surface mount except for two modifications.

1. The base of the domes is .6 inches thick.  This gives the base tremendous strength to support the domes for years to come. 

2. The entry side and exit side of wet set tile have a 15° elevation to hold the wet set tiles in place.  The outer sides of the tiles are at a 90°, thereby allowing installer make the safety domes as long as necessary.

Installation:  At the same time as the ramps are being poured the tiles are recessed into the fresh poured concrete.  Use an edger to edge around the tile.  Place expansion joints in and you are finished.

Construction Cost Savings:  There is no forming out that need to be done.  There is n coming back a second time to put the tiles in.  There is a tremendous amount of time and man-hours that are saved.  We estimate a savings of well over $600.00 per ramp.
